Find me keeping the family farm alive alongside my father and grandfather — three generations working the land on the Umbanhowar Farm, a proud sesquicentennial farm that’s been running strong for over 150 years.
Together, we’ve raised chickens, goats, hogs, and horses, and grown everything from wheat, corn, sweet corn, to soybeans. Over the years, I’ve picked up a deep respect for the land and learned how to grow my own vegetables and herbs from scratch. I’ve even explored the world of microgreens — tiny but mighty greens that pack a punch in both flavor and nutrition, perfect for taking any dish to the next level.
